WHATS UP EVERYBODY

IN the Halo 4 trailer we see the Master Chief has ended up once again in a predicament against all odds, but something caught my attention.
In the trailer we see the front-side of the ship is moving toward the large structure, which would be the fiery part. In the opening of the structure you can see obelisk(fin) like structures moving inward toward the inside of the construct, while the Chiefs ship moves toward the opening. On the Xbox.com page for H4 we see Chiefs ship moving away from the structure(due too the fiery part facing away from the opening), but this is the interesting part. The obelisk fin like structures are facing toward the ship, unlike the trailer. So maybe he has entered the opening (possibly a portal, or entrance to a Dyson sphere) and come out the other end.
Pplease tell me what you think. This is only speculation.

I don't think the planet is a shield world, but definitely something similar to it.

No doubt it's completely artificial.

Shield Worlds normally have terraformed surfaces(so far seen) but this one is different.

This one?

The trail is behind him, so he must be moving towards it here. He is still outside the structure, due to its curvature.

They have to be inside of the structure because they are facing the opposite way they where in the trailer and we can see the fin thingies are facing the ship, which they are not in the trailer. also in Halo Wars when they end up inside the planet it still had a curvature as though they where on the surface due to forerunner illusion

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

I'm leaning towards this being the legendary planet, since it makes sense. Last we saw Chief he was drifting towards a large object, chances are this is it. I'm thinking shield world as others have. It's possibly that the was taken into the center of the world by the sentinels while Chief was asleep and Cortana didn't wake him until things started exploding.

Shield worlds were originally weapons used to target the flood, tus they wouldn't need to have a surface per say.

Not to mention that the forerunners could be living inside of it.

You seem extraordinarily persistant in your belief its a shield world. While we can't rule out the possibility, it just seems to me that Shields are a little to well known to the fanbase; Halo 4 should be trying for new, and surprising weapons, plots and locales, in order to start the second trilogy off right.

Part of the mystery and wonder of Halo 1 was exploring an unknown, artificial Ring world we didn't know the purpose of. 343i seems to be trying to recapture that sense of mystery in H4; shield worlds aren't the way to do it, we already know everything about them.
