"Wort wort wort!"

It looked like a planetoid object made into cities, maybe even a spaceship? Maybe even the Marathon? We have no idea just what happened when MC kinda went through the portal, he could have gone a few hundred years in the future (there are time-travel caused alternate timelines in both canons) and found the Marathon.

It would be a long shot, since Bungie has left Halo, but not impossible.

Numba one Italian on da flud.

343 can't do that because Marathon is still a Bungie game.

Marathon influenced much of what Bungie produced with their Halo games, from Forerunner symbols to the designs of certain armor permutations. When Microsoft acquired the rights to Halo, they also acquired the rights to everything there-in, including the Marathon influence.

Why would you think that? Marathon is owned by Bungie. We've already seen that they've removed the Marathon logo from the HCEA cover art logo, so I dont know why you'd think that.

They also removed the Marathon logo from the campaign difficulty shields in Halo Reach. I believe Halo CEA won't have it's Marathon references anymore like the symbols in Keys' pipe and Pillar of Autumns sides. Microsoft simply doesn't own the rights to the Marathon logo and that's why all of the references must be removed.

Woah, I hadn't notice it. Then that confirms that planet isn't Marathon-related...

Perfect, in my opinion Halo has to try to be a only universe with its own personality and not *cof*Hayabusa*cof*.
