for some reason i cant play on my friends server because it says my client is too old. and for his it says his client is too new to play on mine. what i dont get is that we both are playing on the same newest version but it still says mine is too old? if you can find me an answer, please e-mail me at sk8rdude123@hotmail.com thanks for the help if you answer me, but if not well this stinks.

You have to update your game manually to v1.07.

Client? As in...actual networking or connection problem? It sounds like you have some problem with the actual internet connection, not necessarily the game itself. Some error messages or whatever appears would help. Also particularly helpful info in this case would be the internet connection type, any firewalls, stuff related to your connection?

I would check your connection, since client refers to a computer connected to a network. Hence, a client error would mean that your computer (or connection, not sure) isn't up to date.

In Halo, the client is simply the game that tries to connect to the hostgame, the server.

Can both you join random servers that appear in the server list at the same time? Check it with one of the official BUNGIE servers. If you can, then it's probably a firewall/router issue.

well, none of the same are in the server list because only your version shows up in the list, so im clueless and i dont think and im for sure that it isnt a router or firewall issue. =/ so i dont know
