My account (legoguy56) was banned in halo reach from earning credits for 2 weeks because my brother got filed for complaints for"being too good" note: I was not banned my brother was and we share a console, but i was not able earn credits and ive been demoted to recruit(i was colonel grade 3) what can i do to fix this?Several problems with this:
1. When you use the "File Complaint" option, you can't give "Too Good" as a reason. It's just "File Complaint".
2. You can say that someone is "Too Good" when you avoid a player, but that's a totally separate process from filing complaints, and it won't result in a ban.
3. Complaints submitted through that dashboard are Microsoft's turf, not Bungie's, and if he was banned due to complaints that'd be a ban from Live, not from earning credits in Reach.
4. legoguy56, the gamertag you mentioned, is still a Corporal, Grade 1.
5. The colateral bans are an intentional measure to keep people from dodging a ban by using and alternate gamertag anyway.
So if I were you, I'd talk it over with Brother and find out what he really got banned for, then make sure he doesn't do it again.
