"Shall we let the Flood consume our holy city? Turn High Charity into another of their wretched hives? No enemy has ever withstood our might. The Flood, too, shall fail."

-Prophet of Truth.

In the Halo 4 trailer we see what's left of FuD moving forward towards what looks to be some kind of Forerunner structure. Perhaps Dawn could be the keyword here because what if Dawn is actually something that connects to the Halo universe. The ship is moving forward unto dawn. What is this dawn if anything. Also, on the Halo 4 website or whatever we see that the ship has exited the planet because the frigate is turned a full 360 degrees so that the burning part is facing away from the planet, opposite of what the trailer showed.

Thoughts?

Helping out the 7th column community with reasonable posts since '07.

The phrase appeals to me as a poetic writer myself. For some reason I imagine the Forward Unto Dawn (as a frigate) a vessel to another day (dawn the beginning of the day, and ending of the night). Poetically this means the darkness something of negativity wouldn't keep it's victorious domination for long until the light shall bring forth dawn. Forward Unto Dawn.

This all relates to Halo since the darkness that was the ending of Halo 3, and the "ending" of Master Chief would eventually shine once more.
