This requires a little bit of explaining. I've always been a diehard Nintendo fan. I'd always had the greatest disdain for Sega and Playstation. So to me, the XBox was an abomination. Hearing my friends talk for ages about how great this "Halo" game was, I scoffed. I had seen a couple screenshots, and it didn't look very unique to me. I had no real interest in playing it.
One of my friends had a LAN party for his birthday. We had Counterstrike, and I spent most of the time playing that. But, inevitably, I tried Halo for the first time.
The next day, I went out and bought an XBox, and of course, Halo.
Since then I've been a diehard XBox fan. And of course, the best Halo player I know is myself.

But my absolute favorite Halo time was a LAN party not too long ago. A bunch of friends and I ended up on the same team (it was a most unfair distribution, but since we were messing around most of the time, the teams came out about even). For the next 3 hours, we had a "Choral Halo Party" as I call it. It being about midnight, the neighborhood began to get a little pissed as we sang through our games of HALO.
Songs sung: "Eye of the Tiger," "Lean on Me," "Under the Sea.".... I forget the rest. But it was grand. Absolutely grand.
