I have come to a conclusion on this website: "I have a love/hate relationship to it."
I love all the new information. I salute Art-man for telling more new info on Halo 2 than 4 weekly updates combined. I think the 'frag girls' are all hot, not just one or two of them.
I hate seeing others play Halo 2 and getting jealous. I also hate seeing hot girls who are good at halo and not knowing them.
I'm also addicted to this website like -blam!-. I can only guess, since I've never done anything outside paint thinner, and that paint thinner was also flammable and the evidence is now under the rug.
And now that I've read a post on the forum like Art's, I will now read each and every forum post searching for more leaked info.
The cure? Or maybe a new and different disease? November 9th will come.
JOn out.

This is the second time I've appeared at the top of page 5. I've gone through legendary more than 3 dozen times as of yesturday. I delayed shipping for the navy a little after 3 months after Halo 2 came out. Until then, training.

Ya Roxy was the screen that was on the huge projector screen too. You wasted them all and the entire audience was cheering for you. Good Job. And the Frag Dolls didnt do too bad either. Even the Dolls that needed help with the controls and settings did great!

Har! I remember you, Roxy! You were the one I had the hardest time killing. Much fun, that. And hopefully my suitably fierce name, Gerbil, struck fear into the hearts of many and shall cause nightmares in days yet to come. Well, ok, not really, but it sounded good.

Hmmm I can't believe people were gettin dropped by girls. Especially "hot" ones(according to people) I would be embarassed if that was me. Thank you roxy, for being one who doesn't suck. I would dare them to try to own me and a sniper rifle aimed straight at their heads.

So has anyone seen Frankie play? I wanna know if he's any good haha.

Man Just the thought of wainting till nov.9 just to play halo 2 just makes me mad.
November 9 is so close and yet so far away.
I All ready have plans made with my friends. As soon as we get our copies of the game we will get together at my friends house and play Multiplayer with 16 players all night. Probably Untill The Next Day. I Have All Ready Have Everything set to for that day. If Your Schedule is as Busy as mine you might want to follow this List Of things to do to prepare. These measures may seem to be a little to drastic but im am truly dedicated to halo and extremely excited about the release date

Things i have done in preperation for Halo 2:
1. Took The Day Off On NOV. 9 From Both My Jobs
2. Have The Homework Done For My College Class On NOV. 9.
3. Called All My Friends That Dont Play Halo And Told Them To Not Look For Me On Nov. 9.
4. Called everyone that i play halo with and made sure that we were getting together on that day.

Supplies I Plan On Buying Before Nov. 9:
1. New X-Box
2. Three More X-Box Controlers
3. X-Box Head Set
4. X-Box Subscription To X-Box Live
5. Pre Order Halo 2 Special Edition Metal Box Set & An Extra Copy Of Halo 2 ( just in case)

Gerbil, i think you were the one on the far left of red team right? If so, i was the one that helped you find out your name. (since it would only say "you" killed or got killed by so and so)

I played halo2 at a games show in london 2day and i was dissapointed with what i got to play after 6hrs of waiting. I played team slayer and we all spawned at the same point and the graphics werent even that good. I was a bit dissapointed to say the least. Is this bungies doing ? only letting players spawn at 1 point or was it the plp at the game show who set up the game ? I still remain hopeful as i can understand hoe this version of Zanzibar may be a few months old but still...

To follow up that rather trite comment from Amber Spartan:

Last gasp of Zanzibar build at PAX my BLAM! Yay I get to correct Frankie on something.
I went to GameStars Live in London today too - it was a standard trade show setup - 10 players at a time, 5v5 1 flag CTF Zanzibar E3, 1 round before letting someone else play. But with two important differences:
We played 25-kill Slayer, not CTF.
The map we played was the special demo map used at the Microsoft press conference to show off stuff.
This meant that 10 players spawned on the beach, within 5 metres of each other, with every weapon and vehicle in the level at their feet.
The ensuing chaos of the one allowed round lasted about a minute. I managed to pull off a 3-person sword kebab, what with all the close-up spawning, but then got melee'd in the wake of my lunge by someone spawning right behind me. Not worth the 4-hour queue. Baaad organising.
But the game looked stunning - I guess Amber Spartan's gripes were because there were framerate issues, due to there being 10 people on the beach at once, all in fierce combat, with about 30 corpses, dropped guns and charred vehicles lying around. Plus it's hard to admire the scenery when surrounded by 9 angry dual-smg, sword and rocket-wielding spartans.
Nightmare-clad guys guarded the exit, and I triad (and narrowly failed) to get one of the booth guy's Halo 2 shirts in return from my rare, much-admired Doom 3 shirt, but it turned out the Halo 2 shirts were also used as identity for booth workers, and they couldn't give them to random punters.
Lets hope days 2-5 go better.

Hurray for a thread filled copiously with male hormones and drool.

by the way, men dont droolk unless there in their early 1's, and hormones are cool (i think ;/).

I was going to rebuke that, but I noticed your sig.

thank u for being so generous, and by the way the "i think ;/" part was questioning myself, not being completely sure (female hormones are coll 2 though...)

Sully/Roxy - Frankie and I have already been talking about setting up a full game, so assuming you're with Frankie's crew (I'm making that assumption), you can plan on playing some Halo 2 against the Frag Dolls before the end of 2004. ;)

I'm not officially "with" Frankie's crew, I have another crew that's even better. :) But if you actually come back out this way again at his behest, we'll have to set up a LAN game. Otherwise, we can just arrange something over the internet. Kat and I have a mutual friend that we can use to get in contact if it comes to that.

Thanks! Gerbils do strike fear into my heart, but I think that was the case even before I met you...

Thanks for noticing! I tried my best to put on a good show for everyone watching, and the applause just made it all the sweeter. And what you say is true - considering the Dolls had little to no experience with the game at all, they sure put finger to trigger like they meant business.
