When I say needler as a type of grenade, I mean that when you get a bunch of needlers on one target, it makes what I call a "home-made grenade" (because it makes an explosion just like a grenade).

The frag makes a big boom and does more damage, but the plasma nade can stick to foes. Then you got the needler that tracks it's foes AND sticks to them. Tell me which you prefer.

Sure it does. I'm not sure if it can hurt other people ( in multiplayer online), but I know in the campaign it kills other covenant besides the one you stuck it to. It also makes the explosion and the sound a normal grenade would make. It has the same effect as a grenade, so why not classify it as a grenade. Or what I call it: home-made grenade.

I use way more frag grenades than plasma's. But there's nothing more gratifying than sticking someone on the front of the head, and them runnin' around like some kind of miner with his headlamp on.

My only beef with plasma grenades in Halo PC is that they fly like rocks. In the campaign, you can launch one of those babies across the battlefield. You can't do that online because they don't go as far (for some reason). The frags only go farther because they can bounce on hard sufaces.
