Subject: Is Bungie ashamed of halo 4?

i know they arent making the game but dony u think they would acknowledge it on their website by now or something? not even a forum for it. are the worried that 343i will ruin the name of halo? (not that i know how it plays yet)

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

It's not their game. Why would they make a forum for it or make a news post about it?

That's not very fair. While obviously it's not their game, you're a fool if you think they did not intuitively and specifically seed key members from their team into the Microsoft subsidiary that now is 343. It's all a master plan, and I feel they took the required precautions to ensure their baby was well taken care of.

Or else... Cthulhu help us all.

Bah, 343 will do better than Bungie. A ton of their best people went over, including the people who made Halo: CE.

I'm looking forwards to playing a Halo game that matches Halo 2 in terms of longevity and smooth gameplay elements.

I don't know how they'll do (I hope they do great - big fan of Halo, I want to see more). But all of your second sentence is completely false. Lots of good people at 343i, and they're all huge fans of Halo and will probably continue to make great stuff, but very few actually worked at Bungie during their careers.

You know im actually looking foward to it. im very excited. How bad can it be. The trailer was so crazy it blew my mine. Maybe they had the story line plannd out the whole time. Its just they didnt want to do it right away. Its just a matter of time. people saying its going to suck because of its not bungie. Call of Duty keeps switching producers and they are still top played games.

Well, I think that goes to show that info taken from forum members without sources shouldn't be trusted. So many people get misinformed so much here.

See, Achronos is in on it. Trying to thwart any theories. Shame on you. I know in my heart Shishka is over there making multiplayer nice and swatless-actionsackless.

I can't see why they would be ashamed. They get to play a new Halo game that they didn't have to make and it's a mystery to them just as much as it is to us, which just makes it more alluring. That would be a win in my book.

I did, I just didn't see the part where you said you know they weren't making the game.

It's easy for me to miss things that are right in front of me, sorry.

System Integrity Confirmed

honestly the only promblem for Halo CEA for me is the Chief helmet , its all squarey- i cringe every time i see it. but on MS website it has an ad and his helmet looks normal.

and now we play the waiting game....

This guy is a scrub

I really hope they do alright Il be pissed if they screw this up. I dont think a game publisher will make a good game designer, Bungie should have kept ownership of the series. I also feel like microsoft is doing it for all the wrong reasons, more for money than for the fans, but I wish them the best none the lest. Im just less optimistic since its not Bungie.

That's because the helmet is already being worked on/changed in the current phase according to Frankie. The trailer itself wasn't updated in time to reflect that change.

as the blood of my enimes satin the earth and i await my next victim on the batel feild the voices of my fallen comrads echo in my head beconing me to join them i not sure im ready to....yet

i doubt they will be ashamed many people from bungie surly would have gone over to 343 to make sure that they don't sccrew it up but from what i have seen of the teaser the graphics could be better though

Well, hopefully Halo 4 doesn't turn into a "Black Ops". Black Ops is an example of what happens when you switch the producers of a game. They ruin the campaign, & use weird graphics they think looks better than the titles before hand. I'm not thrilled about how Chief has had a jet pack all this time, even though the books say that that is actually the power cell for his armor. What the heck? I mean, look at the trailer for the new Assassins Creed. It gets better every time because Ubisoft keeps making it. So I hope there's a lot of former Bungie employees still helping make all things Halo.

Just to check, so there are infact Bungie employees who worked on the Halo franchise that now work for 343 Industries? I was never to sure about this.

Bungie.net is the place to be!

Amidst the snowfall, the cold does little to diminish his wishes to be free. The eagle is chained and has no way of breaking free. No matter how much he flies, he still is chained. The blizzards do nothing to break his determination and in his eyes, he will be freed, someday...

Bad habits are like chains that are too light to feel until they are too heavy to carry
