They seem to be the last to be saying anything?
The whole planet now knows, and yet, not a peep from B?

How strange, maybe someone forgot to tell them?

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

Because the press release goes out the international channels first due to the way press releases are handles. That means that when announcements are made via press release, we don't always get to post press releases first.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

It was pretty much first shown on the blog of the head of XBOX LIVE, so that's kinda Bungie since MS owns Bungie.

I don't think I understand. How can announcing via press release to international channels not coinside with announcing via press release to any other given channel? Or putting something official on the Bungie website? (Just a quick little line, and then a note for more information to soon follow.)

It's really weird to me that local 'news' gets their info from international markets when the source is local.

Hey, dude. Check out the front page.
There's a new story with a FAQ(somewhat worthless) and some other stuff in it.

This is rather shamless of Microsoft. Just another way to sell their OS.

Sadly it will work. Bungie is their little **** now.

Wouldnt it more accurate to say that Bungie is owned by M$ and therefore they set the rules? Lets be real here.

What the heck are you talking about? What was press released?

Q: Is the release of Halo 2 for Windows Vista just a way to force consumers to purchase the new operating system?
A: Absolutely not. Bungie Studios and Microsoft's steadfast commitment to quality determined that the Windows Vista platform would provide the best possible version of Halo 2 for the Windows PC. We will provide you with more details in the future.

I call total BS on that. Also, I can't wait for someone to crack the game to play on XP. It will happen.

Furthermore, this is exactly when Bungie sold out to M$, abandoned their MAC loyalists and watched as Microsoft put their game on the shelf for two years in order to sell Xboxs. It's just plain shameless marketing tactics that they know will work. Bungie single handedly made the Xbox, and they are a joke now to MAC gamers and PC gamers.

Firstly: don't bump. Secondly: Use the edit feature. Lastly: People like you who play cracked games and the sort are evil.

I don't play cracked games my friend. Never have, never will. There is a difference between buying a retail game and having it edited to run on an older OS. Nothing illegal about that.

i said it in another topic:

cross compatibility at this point between xp and vista is just about null.

ive tried. i think maybe one program half worked on xp and vista. all the drivers are new for vista, and all the software will have to be changed for vista. if they make Halo 2 for vista and XP, it will likely require more than a little "crack"

id say you might need a fissure. or a total cataclysm.

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

I would barely want to spend 60 $ on the game just for the map making feature ( but I would) but you also want me to buy a vista and then likely a new computer? Seems some one in microsoft was smoking to much crack earlier today. When I first read the title I was excited then after readign about the map makign feature I got more excited and THEN I thought about it and then I was disapointed. The only thing I am going to gain from this is spending a half in hour looking at halo 2 custom maps..

Thanks bungie..

Theres even might be a mac version..but no xp version? WTF???

WTF? WTF? WTF?WTF?

All I have to say to this is................ : (
