Spartans don't die, they simply go to hell and regroup.
Well, I can say I'm dissappointed, sure it'll be cool, but the marketing ploy is so visible here, microsoft made it exclusive, so then we'd all buy Vista, I think I can stick with windows XP, thank you very much.
I look forward to seeing more about it, though I, and countless thousands of other people will be dissappointed at Microsoft's latest marketing junk, to make us all spend more money on their company. I will definetly NOT be buying vista, just for H2PC, in fact, I don't think I'm getting H2PC at all. To tell you the truth, I think many just won't buy it, and Microsoft will lose more than if it was XP, XP Pro, XP 64 bit, and Vista.
I was thinking of waiting to buy my new PC, and put up more money to get Vista, but this turns me away from it, Vista hasn't announced SLi compatibility, so my two Nvidia 7800's would be useless. I remember back when Bungie said Halo 2 will never go to pc, not for a long time, now it is. I'm very disappointed in microsoft, and the way it is bossing bungie around. Sure the PC Halo 2 might be amazingly good looking, but who can actually run it? How much would it cost?! And I bet they will make us pay to play online. Why make something great, greater, if no one can access it without shelling out the ammount for a 360, just for a new and buggy operating system? I don't know about you guys, but I'm not going vista for a LONG time, and if I do, I sure won't be paying the full price. Bungie is going the way of the darkside, Microsoft is completely controlling them, and it's fans are suffering. Goodjob, Micro$oft, "let's rake in more money so they can play their little games", is the point they are putting across, by controlling bungie to do this. If anything was to turn me over to UNIX, it'd be this.
Keep up the good work though bungie, when you release a game on the 360, I shall buy it, and a 360.
Dissappointed with marketing crap,
Raiden.
