So the entire upper part of the Spire is held up by hard-light pillars and whatnot, right? Hard-light pillars (like hard-light bridges and platforms) only exist when they're turned on. 1So if Jorge and Six had just EMPed the Spire, the power would go out, the hard-light pillars turn off, suddenly nothing's supporting the upper half of the Spire. Big Covie base fall down go boom, and they don't even need to go up top and fight the fuel-rod grunts and sword elite.
Oh, and that's the other thing. Why are the grunts firing off highly explosive rocket-launcher analogs in an enclosed space filled with important-looking equipment?
