I AM THE GREAT BOBALUGA

While listening to Frankie's interview on G4 I noticed that he said that one of the seven maps was going to be a firefight map. He also went on to state that it fits perfectly into the theme of Halo CE.

Here is my theory... I think that the map will be a Pillar of Autumn level with attacking covenant coming in from all angles. Closing off certain areas and allowing access to ammo rooms could make for a wildly fun and truly HALO experience.

What do you guys think?

Interesting idea. However, I am hoping for a map with a night/day cycle, with covenant waves during the day and flood waves spawning at night. Just an idea, but if implemented right it could be really fun.

Ninja, that is a very unique idea. The only hole I see is that the flood weren't nocturnal, they popped up everywhere. Don't get me wrong though, the concept has potential.

Hmm, true.. Perhaps the flood and the covenant could all come at once, then it would feel like the later campaign levels? Haha, I don't know, I just hope they find some way to implement the flood, then I'll be happy.

I hope its a fire fight with the flood. But not just the flood sentinel, covenant, and the flood. YOu could possibly have ai marines on your side that when they die they are taken over by the flood like in campaign. And if you die your guy is taken over by the flood. (Maybe they could bring in the -blam!- elite from the legendary ending. JK)
