So you guys, I don't know if this has been posted before (though it probably has), so please don't make a thousand comments talking about my moronic thread. ANYWAY...

It's come to my attention that Sergent Johnson, the man you know and love, is just a reincarnated form of another Sergeant you've seen in a certain movie. Yes, back in the nineties Sergeant Johnson was a Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army.

Have you ever seen the movie "Glory?" Well, if so, then congratulations, you've spotted Johnson in a past life.

Picture here: (http://armonebenson.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/morgan_freema n_glory.jpg)

Please let it be noted that Johnson was actually Morgan Freeman in this past life.

I've seen that movie and I don't remember Morgan Freeman's character acting anything like Johnson.

I was joking, merely showing the relationship between looks, and that Bungie may have based Johnson's character off of his physical features, excluding the cigar.

Morgan Freeman looks nothing like Johnson...

You do realize that Johnson was based off the stereotypical bad ass marine corps sergeant visualized (in physical appearance and/or personality) in movies like Aliens. Predator, Starship Troopers, etc.

Morgan Freeman's character in Glory is almost the complete and total opposite of that...

You know he's just trolling, right?

Johnson was obviously inspired by Sergeant Al Apone from Aliens.

Mannerisms, speech, cigar. It's all Apone.

It was more likely he was based off of Sgt. Apone(sp?) from the movie, Aliens. That character, along with many other elements in the movie (Marines' armor, weapons, vehicles, etc.) beared resemblance to the aesthetics of the Halo Universe.
