Something smells fishy...

Is there a command or something that can be added to the Halo 1 PC dedicated server init file that restarts the entire mapcycle automatically?

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Check Section E.

I know all that already. Thanks though:)

I was just looking for a command that restarted the entire mapcycle automatically. I'm beginning to believe there is no such command available that can be implemented either manually or automatically.

The mapcycle should reset automatically when it reaches the end if you didn't change the server's map or gametype manually.

Indeed it should, and if you do manually change the servers map/gametype thought he console, just type this (I think, been a while) to restart the mapcycle.

rcon whatever sv_mapcycle_begin
Or just sv_mapcycle_begin directly into the dedicated server console/program.

I created my own custom gametype. As in I created a custom gametype from the create cystom gametypes menu in Halo. Then I added my custom gametype's name to the mapcycle list within the init file.
Example: sv_mapcycle_add bloodgulch "[custom gametype name here]"

Is it that when I create and use a custom gametype the entire mapcycle will not reset automatically?

See what's happening is that once the mapcycle comes to an end the server does not automatically reset. Instead Halo displays the message, "The Game Has Close Down" and then I have to manually restart the entire mapcycle.
