"Wort wort wort!"

The planet on the poster doesn't look Forerunner. It's too industrial, while Forerunner tech is smooth and nice.

Best. Ship. Ever!

I assume you're talking about this

Not all Forerunner tech is smooth. The Sentinel beam isn't at all smooth and neither are their structures. I believe you're thinking of the Covenant's style of architecture. All of they're buildings and weapons tend to be of a smooth design.

It's a planet, it's going to look different than a 100-meter tall tower.

From an educated point of view its either:

1.
A station like high charity. Look at this
On the left side of the photo, looks similar no? There are Forerunner Fortess worlds that are described as looking similar to high charity.

2.
A shield world.
If you've played Halo wars you would have the the Spirit of Fire entering the shield world through a giant circular pit just before it crashes into the Covenant glassing ship. This could have a decent storyline. The shield world could be onyx, where other Spartan II's like Linda, Kelly and Fred are based(they were all members of blue team with john).

Either way, I think they shouldn't have made Halo 4. Halo 3 was subtitled "Finish the Fight" for a reason.

We did finish the fight, with the Covenant...

They aren't fighting anymore, they're just trying to get home.
