So we can expect a lot of changes and additions to Halo gameplay in Halo 4. Let's say the Halo community had to choose one, and only one, special feature to go in 4. Which of these given special features would you choose? Here's a description of the choices:

Better stealth gameplay: there were some moments in the different Halo games where stealth was an obvious first choice. Nightfall in Reach, Truth and Reconciliation in CE, The Arbiter in 2, and other examples. While these moments were fun, they usually didn't last long because, by some fluke or chance, a grunt would see you out of the back of his head, and the entire Covenant army would be alerted. Wouldn't it be great to have a better stealth system in 4? Not to the degree of Splinter Cell mind you, but something a little more useful in missions than previous games.

Armor abilities: This speaks for itself. We saw the Chief's jetpack in the trailer, but was it an armor ability in the Reach sense of the term? Only you decision (in this forum) will determine...

Open-world gameplay: So Reach, ODST, and Halo: CE boasted more "open-world gameplay" than the other games. While it certainly had some open spaces, I would hardly call open-world gameplay a feature in these games. Usually OW consists of side missions, secret stashes of stuff, or anything that doesn't have to do with the task at hand. Would you want this in 4?

Huge choice of weapons/customizable weapons: So we've had different kinds of weapons in reach, but honestly, compared to other FPSs like COD and Battlefield, there have not been that many weapons in Halo. Usually we have one of each kind of weapons, or maybe a Human version and a Covenant version (for example, the BR and Carbine, grenade launcher and concussion rifle). Would we want to have a massive amount of weapons for the variety in 4? Maybe add ons for the guns, like in Crysis? Your choice...

More choice-bound uses of night vision/stealth: In CE and Reach we had night vision, and VISR in ODST. How many times were these things partially necessary? a total of two, maybe three times in CE and Reach, and most of ODST. Would you want more places in 4 to use said features? I don't mean places in missions where someone says "turn on your night vision," but I mean places where you choose to go where night vision and stealth was almost necessary to navigate. This would kinda tie in with open-world gameplay, but not completely.

So you have your choices and explanations, make your choice!

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Where's the, "I want a great story/campaign in Halo 4 and that should be 343's number 1 priority" option?

Hopefully that's a given in 4!

Faithless beasts...

The armor, the jetpack, Cortana's sudden new look... they are just so wrong...

Discipline is my Sword,
Faith is my Shield,
Do not leap blindly into uncertainty,
And you may live to reap the rewards.

"The Important Thing Is To Never Stop Questioning,"

My vote goes to never being released.

If not that then not featuring the Master Chief. but that's just me, I'm sure I will be hated on for this but I just don't want MC being another Mary Sue because writers don't know how to put him down and advance a story otherwise.
