Do you think forge should be in Halo Anniversary or should 343 try and keep it as much like the first halo as possible.

No, there's just campaign in it. There will be forge in the new Halo: Reach maps that are re-created Halo CE though.

they said in the trailer that there would be multiplayer...

I like cheese more than you
Except Blue Stilton. That stuff is nasty. As is any cheese that contains stuff other than cheese

Of course it will have forge, as the multiplayer maps will be on reach

The whole thing is two disks. One with CEA campaign and the other with multiplayer maps meant for Reach. Just loke ODST.

  • 06.11.2011 12:37 PM PDT

does that mean it will include the other map packs?

i think the new maps is dlc...or contained in the disx and downloaded into your HD

It's already been conformed that the new maps will be more forge friendly than most with new forge pieces.

It's actually all one disc. Frankie said that in an interview that was recently on the dashboard (might still be there).

Ever since I heard the news of Halo: Combat Evolved being upgraded to the Xbox 360, I've had some questions. Anyone is welcome to comment on them if you wish. I wanted to know if forge mode would be present in the game as far as forge world itself? As in the I have heard that Reach's multiplayer will accompany the campaign. Here is a question I have not heard so far: Since Reach's multiplayer is used on Halo CE: Anniversary, if you have a Reach multiplayer profile/rank must you "start over" upon playing the Reach multiplayer for Halo: CE Anniversary OR will your rank simply transfer over?

To summarize, my questions are 1) Will Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary have a "forge world" as in the map from Reach, or a brand new one? 2) Will there be special firefight maps that feature ONLY Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary enemies (i.e. there are no Brutes in the original Halo, nor Skirmishers) or will be be just like Reach? So tell me, for my first post, are these some intelligent, thought-provoking questions or no? :)

  • 08.15.2011 6:36 AM PDT

i believe they are inteligent questions but i do believe that there is not much information to support a answer to them.

Im sorry for my coup changes but Im new at this.

It has multiplayer

Eh, Bungie! Why the heck can you only put a maximal of 8 weapon holders on the map in Last Resort? They are extremely useful for all kinds of things, yet 8 isn't even enough for a party of 16 people! Also I use them for floating bridges, platforms, etc. Just download my BUNKER DEFENSE map and you'll see some of all the uses I have for them! ALLOW US TO PUT MORE WEAPON HOLDERS ON ARE MAPS!!!

Anyone who doesn't answer yes can't be serious.

What kind of question is this OP? Why don't you ask us next if Halo Anniversary should have no theatre or no firefight next? Lets make sure it's stripped of everything and as featureless as possible!

Understanding that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is claiming to remain nostalgic to its original roots, I wonder if certain game play elements that are found in today's Halo franchise games will be left out intentionally. Such an example would be the ability to high-jack a vehicle. That feature debuted in Halo 2. Another feature is the ability to dual wield weapons, also debuted in Halo 2. Something that was in the original Halo was the use of the flashlight. This is my personal favorite! I would like to know if that feature will remain in this installment of the game as well as learn if it will be a component of the multiplayer experience or not. Something else I am curious about is Reach's armor ability system. Since the spartans in Reach were Mark III's and Master Chief is a Mark VI, shouldn't those abilities be present in the "future" or were they scrapped with the elimination of the Mark III's (a.k.a. Noble Team)? Just a few questions I thought would raise an eyebrow or two. Can't wait to read any and all replies!
