In Bungie's weekly update, they basically stated that they are turning Halo over to the new company in order to work on their next big project.
When I first read this it kinda made me sad... But then I thought about it and realized that:
1)Halo was their first "big project" and it became legendary
2)If they are turning over the whole franchise to work on something new, then this new project must be even bigger than Halo.
3)Bungie also stated they can now do things that they weren't capable of before.
So, after thinking about it, I'm pretty optimistic about their next big thing. I'm actually kinda looking forward to it. I mean, Halo has pretty much ran it's course, and I think it's safe to say that a lot more people were more disappointed in Reach than any other Halo game, so it's probably a good time to turn over the franchise anyway. Maybe the new company will better the series, maybe it won't. It doesn't really matter.. We've already played Bungie's masterpieces and all good things must come to an end at some point anyway.
So, I'm just wondering what you all think. We've all been talking about the Halo: CE Anniversary remake and Halo 4 that no one is really mentioning Bungie's new project. What do you all think it will be like? Think it will be even bigger than the Halo series? Tell me what you think...
