According to the Cole protocol, if trying to retreat, you must make a random jump before heading back to Earth, now let me just ask this, what if the Random jump was towards to the Sol system? Would it be reviewed by an A.I. before the jump just in case or how would that work?

"The measure of a man is what he does with power"-Plato

That would be really bad luck.

But ship navigators in the UNSC will have Sol's waypoint drilled in to them so this unfortunate thing would NEVER happen.

Do you understand the odds of that happening?

It's still possible.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

That needs to be what Spartan 1337 does in Odd One Out 2. :L

It is also possible for you to quantum teleport to the moon at any time, but don't place any bets on it. (Not just because you would be dead)

It has to be a random jump away from earth.

4. If retreating from Covenant forces, all ships must enter Slipstream space with randomized vectors NOT directed toward Earth, the Inner Colonies, or any other human population center.

I'd assume that whatever protocols are set up, they're set up so that any coordinates of human colonies are barred out from being randomly selected by AIs or random number generators.

random numbers generated by computers arent really random they do follow a pattern/formula humans without the right math skills cant notice this so in reality its just a list of numbers that appear random and UNSC colony locations can just be removed from this list

This is also the case for major population centers(reach, harvest, etc.)
