Elites over Spartans any day.

I recently found my old H2 MP map pack disc, and decided to fire it up. I noticed I no longer had the maps from it on my new xbox after using the transfer cable. If it helps, I'm on the new slim 360, and this is the error code that comes up after the white Xbox splash screen:
This original Xbox game has encountered a problem and can't continue. For more info, go to www.xbox.com/support. [Error code] X: 5829.0 B: 1884.0

if it's something else I'm unsure. put that error code into google and find out I guess.

That's the thing, I put that code into Google and I get a ton of replies about softmodded Xbox originals, pirated games, etc. The disc is 100% legit, I just found it this afternoon and cleaned it up a little. I know my xbox can run far worse looking discs with ease, unless this one is incredible fragile or something. It has some scuffs on it and whatnot, but no deep game ruining scratches.

Update, it kinda sorta works. The Bungie splash screen was laggy as all hell. The sound actually cut out, and the menu is rather blurry and artifacted. I guess it just had to warm up, after 395832957394739 failed boots. The entire screen actually went solid green for 30 seconds at one point.

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

Try the old toothpaste technique. Take a cloth and dampen it with warm water and squeeze some white plain toothpaste in it, it's kind of grainy. Gently rub the disc's underside and let it dry for a few moments, then with the damp cloth, remove all toothpaste and let it dry. Try the game in a few minutes and it may work!
