Yes I'm fairly young. No, that doesn't mean I'm automatically dumber than you or have less life experience, thats just generally the case. I am not your general case.

plasma smg, no dual wielding, shoots purple bursts, semi automatic and has same overload feature as plasma pistol.
Sounds oddly like a Plasma Rifle
OT: Plasma Katana (Like an energy sword but of human design) Battle Rifle and M7 SMG, as well as the M6G and MA5B. Covenant Carbine, Plasma Rifle, Plasma Pistol, some sort of six barreled grenade launcher (like the M32 or the MM-1), an under barreled grenade launcher, an under barrel shotgun, the M90 Mk.1 (the Halo CE shotty) Plasma Repeater, Needler, Beam Rifle, sniper rifle, M41 Rocket Launcher, Plasma launcher, plasma grenade, M9 frag grenade, thermite grenade, gravity hammer, semi-auto shotty (maybe)...can't think of anything else right now but thats currently what I'm wishing to return or be featured in Halo 4.
uhhhh.....sounds like the same stuff with a mix of COD stuff.
I've just always wondered why UNSC weapons are so...unadvanced.
Like their grenade launcher. Its a break action, 40mm grenade launcher with a fairly short range. We had weapons like that in the Vietnam war. It was called the M79 and it is now only used by Special Forces and police forces as a tear gas launcher. Why would we be using a similar weapon 500 years from now?
Gameplay reasons. Imagine a a semi-automatic grenade launcher in campaign and multiplayer. It'd just be James Bond 007 Nightfire all over again.
I never said it had to be featured in multiplayer. As for Campaign, a semi-auto 'nade launcher would be rather nice if you ask me, powerful but not overpowered. I disposed of the Halo:Reach grenade launcher almost right away whenever I had it. Useless.
