Ever since reading Cryptum, I've wondered about this iconic quote of Spark's. We assume he was referring to being questioned by the Didact. Yet, Spark would referee to humans as Reclaimers and Forerunners as his makers or something to that effect. Since he didn't say "The last time my makers asked me,", could this person Chief was being compared to another human?
Would it be possible that a human, maybe Chakas or Riser, was there to witness the activation of Halo and asked Spark before if he would do it? Note I have no other real proof to support this, but this has bugged me, thought I'd share.
I was playing CE again and planned on making a thread about that quote...
