So,as excited as I am about Halo: CEA,I am curious on some of your opinions about the remake as a whole.
Back before the remake was even announced, sometime around 6 months ago when rumors were going around about it,I couldn't help but imagine a new and improved campaign. Complete with all of the old features/glitches of the original, but now with new added dialogue, cutscenes, gameplay mechanics,etc..
Now what I mean by new added gameplay mechanics,is things like:
- the ability for friendly AI to drive vehicles(aside from the odd marine jumping into the occasional ghost on AOTCR from time to time)
- the ability to operate the Wraith tank
- possibly the option to dual-wield certain select weapons(dual pistols would be excluded probably)
- vehicle hijacking
- flood infection forms infecting hosts(from H3)
While there are many more current gameplay mechanics other then the ones listed above, you get the idea.
I think that the remake could still feel very much like Halo:CE and possibly out-do it's older version if some newer things were thrown in as well. Nothing game changing, just enhancements that make sense(MC could snatch vehicles from covies in H2,why couldnt he do it a week before during H1?).
What do you guys think?
