Hey everyone, I just watched the Halo 4 trailer and saw you started in space, so I was wondering (doubt this will happen), you take a sabre or some other space-capable ship and suddenly, the world becomes open to you, and you can go through the game going to the nearest planets (talking about new Halo Game, I just got the idea from the trailer), or maybe even far planets, and there are missions you must complete (like the basic missions in other Halos).(BTW, THIS WOULD NOT BE IN HALO 4, I GOT THE IDEA FROM WATCHING THE TRAILER.) You could raid covenant outposts/installations. You could destroy Weapon and Vehicle factories, which could affect missions (to a certain extent, like a wraith or revenant missing, or not as good weapons for enemies), based on how important the facility is and it's location to the mission. Not all of each planet would be available, the rest we could say are uninhabitable. Your home planet would be Earth, and it's farther into the war, where some planets are taken by covenant, and you must take them back. You could recruit spartans, marines, ODST, and other UNSC warriors to help (5 at max?) and they each have different abilities (Spartans: Shields and better fighting, Marines: Better weapons, etc.). You could customize your spartan, and you could buy better ships for you and your crew. You would start with just you and maybe a Sabre? or Pelican? Eventually, you could get to a frigate, that's equipped with Sabres, Pelicans and other vehicles, like warthogs to take to earth and scorpions. You would have many people working on your ship, the bigger it gets, but only a limited amount would be in your "squad" and follow you everywhere. You could call in help from your frigate if you have one, or call in ODST (which would just be awesome to watch) and they could drop on top of buildings to cause damage (just watch where they get out, and they don't get killed immediately by enemies). So, i guess i'll let you guys add to this, and i really like the idea of halo in this environment, although it would be difficult to make this game, and would take a long time. Tell me if you like it! Thanks!
