Honestly having "host" in halo 2 is rediculously powerful. Way too powerful. And now especially with bridgers nabbing host how fair is that? Bungie has made so much money off of us here are some examples: Halo 1 (xbox and pc), Halo 2, Halo 2 Limited Edition, Halo themed Xbox, 3 Halo novels, Halo 2 headset, Halo 1 and 2 soundtracks, 2 Map packs plus a map pack CD, and Halo action figures. And if there is anything I have missed cause I'm sure I have. With all of this money why can't they run dedicated servers one example of a game that does this Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. You don't see damn hackers on there. Noone can standby, Hack/mod(that I know of) and I strongly believe it is because of their servers it's not running through someones Xbox. So I figure for how much bungie has milked it's products and it's customers I think they should god well return something to us! Because of the level of cheating that goes on in the game, I don't play it unless I have a lot of friends on in that game. And even then the entire time I play it is no fun because of the cheating. The only thing that makes the game fun now are the people I know on there. I'm sure if EA can afford servers I'm sure Microsoft can. So honestly bungie I say smarten up. The cheating situation is only going to get worse and worse. I am sure, though I'm not an expert, that getting dedicated servers could fix this damn problem and maybe make the game fun again.
