Well, there are a lot of things driving me crazy at this website, the retarded Flood topics and the overflowing mass of Halo 3 topics in the Underground.

But what really really really gets to me is the cheater reports in Zanzibar, the blabbering and utterly annoying people who post a huge topic telling Bungie how to fix their game. It is driving me crazy!

I am really proud of the moderators here that they have enough patience to just not ban every single one of those members.

I think that something should be done, in the form of an announcement, a punishment (such as a 1 day ban) or possibly even, a new forum (extremely bad idea, but just throwing it out there) because i don't think that those topics will go away from Zanzibar anytime soon.

Well the cheater topic in Zanzibar are an annoyance, but usually the people who post them don't know that they're not supposed to post them. I do think that they should get punished if they continuously post those kinds of threads.

As for the people who post about how Bungie should fix the game: They're not getting banned because they're telling Bungie to fix the game. It's just that most of the time they say it in a stupid way, involving phrases like "-blam!- Bungie i cud doo better tan tis" and other things that I couldn't even understand.

And making a new forum would be out of the question for a few reasons:* It would basically be an entire forum didcated to flaming and horrible spelling and grammar... we don't need two Zanzibars.* Making a forum for those kind of threads would mean that Bungie agrees that their game isn't the best, which Bungie would never say.

Chuck Norris threads drive me crazy, however, the Flood does have a wide diversity of threads. If I don't like some of the threads, I don't have to post to them. The most difficult thing for me about the Flood is that serious threads often have no chance.

That's not surprising. Most people who come to the Flood aren't looking for serious discussion. They're looking for stupidity, because stupidity is funny... most of the time. But sometimes I see things in the Flood that make me think, "What... the... -blam!-?"... I mean more than usual. I swear if I hear Chuck Noris one more time...

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

Unfortunatly, very few people read rules. Therefore i would doubt that any announcement to help solve this problem would truely work. Untill someone can think of a ingenius idea to solve this, the moderators are our best bet. As you point out, mods can do great things and already do a great job. You need to report them more. Perhaps an announcement encouraging reporting bad threads/posts etc to moderators would be a good idea. I certainly don't see how that would be counter-productive in anyway.

I don't ever go into Zanzibar, so I don't know too much of what you speak. But, from what I do know, it's a big a problem. But the thing is, this is not an easily solved problem.

Eih mate! I didn't mean to sound like i was whining, but i thought something should be done, you know?

Because there are a lot of people (including myself) that just come to these forums to sit back and talk about stuff, relaxation. Not to hear about some blabbering noob's day on Xbox Live. It gets annoying...

Get used to it - they're here to stay. Along with the Halo 3 threads.
