This may be a long thread.

Here is some suggestions for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Please note that this are not good suggestions, but suggestions that will help Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary become a good remake.

Multiplayer

Now here is the first piss-off about this remake. First of all, we are playing the Halo: Reach multiplayer instead of the game having it's own multiplayer setting. Now Bungie pulled this off by putting Halo 3 Multiplayer into Halo 3: ODST (Yes, I know it was on a seperate disk), so now 343i is doing the same thing? Seriously, no game should use the same multiplayer as the old game because it will not make it any good. In fact, Halo 3 ODST got boring because of this idea. It's not a bad idea, but it is a boring idea.

Halo: CE anniversary should contain its own multiplayer with the same maps and gamemodes as the original Halo CE. Believe me, I don't think you'll want to play the multiplayer from the old game in the new game.

Campaign

The good thing is that this remake will have better graphics and better gameplay experience. What this game needs is actually tweaking of the campaign levels in the original Halo.

I don't know if you agree, but Halo CE anniversary should have a playable "Versus" mode which allows players to compete against each other in the campaign mode. (Bungie is too lazy to even think of this idea). And by "versus" mode, I don't mean a "2v2" versus mode. I mean a "4v4" versus mode that allows 4 players on each team to play as the Covenant and the humans.

Here is a piss-off the Bungie-made games had. LAG. Yes, I said it. LAG. Bungie didn't even TRY to fix the problem and have me playing with friends with a lag going on. No, it's not my connection. No, it's nobody else's connection. It needs to end. Also, this game should NOT have that button lag.

Firefight

We all LOVED firefight. Firefight on Reach wasn't bad, but the ODST firefight was a pain in the ass. Hopefully, Halo CE anniverary will not be the same. Also, there should be NO DIFFICULTY SETTING ON THIS GAME, meaning that we should not choose the difficulty we want. The game will start off on easy and will get harder as you go along. The gamemodes from Reach will be on the remake, but here is some new ones I have came up with.

Legendary Firefight: Firefight on Legendary.

Hunter Fight: Firefight consisting of ALL Hunters. Can you kill them all?

Grenade Fight!: You only have access to grenades in this mode.

Like these suggestions? Comment please.

All of what you said is imposible. All they are doing is putting a fresh skin on the game. They are not changing the game.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

Multiplayer
"People loved Halo Combat Evolved's multiplayer. And they loved it because it worked on System Link. Because when someone was abusing the Pistol, three shots from anywhere on the map destroying everyone, it was your friend. And the counter was that you could throw a slice of pizza at him. That's not true for Live. There's no real Netcode in Halo CE anyway so we would have had to do some huge solves for that that would have changed the experience. Even if we got it perfect, it would be different than you remembered. And we couldn't do it unless it was identical."

"I learned a good lesson about the word 'identical' when I worked at Bungie. During the Legendary Map Pack I told people that Blackout was, for all intents and purposes identical to Lockout. Well someone measured one of the balconies and two of the jumps, and I got that from the horse's mouth about it not being identical. We didn't think people would care that much about this tiny ledge or this or that, but they did. So we couldn't stay loyal to Halo 1's multiplayer, and that's also why we didn't dare touch anything in Halo 1's campaign."
