I don't see why people hate it so much. I bought it yesterday for 5 dollars. The campaign is great, you get to explore and crap.

I would recommend ODST2 to be more open world, and more missions. The only reason it didn't get a full ten was because of a short campaign and a redone multiplayer. Have its own Splinter Cell type multiplayer, add in 12 hours of gameplay, and BAM, its a great game.

yeah lol. Not all used games are crap, the used one I bought had just one small scratch on it. It worked flawlessly too.

Games I like:,
Half-Minute Hero
MBU
Portal
Halo 3 is the best Halo ever
Maps I like: Turf, Avalanche, Pylon, Sandbox, Breakpoint and many more.

Yes. I got it off eBay used for 20 dollars.

Throw in more ODST weapon's, add a bit of online multiplayer (Not like Halo 3s, otherwise ODST would become Halo: CoD), and hey presto, a new game!

I must admit the campaign was really short. But sadies story was truly epic.

Our big green style, cannot be defeated!
-Sgt. A.J. Johnson - Halo 2 - Metropolis

It should be about the mission they were on during the battle of Reach. They should be on missions where at first, they're one of the first to meet the Covenant on the ground. So they're going on defense missions to protect population centers. Then they go on missions behind enemy lines,if possible. During that campaign, you would be able to see parts of Reachs campaign, so it's like, "Hey, that's the mission where Noble 6 & Kat were trying to take out the AA guns"! But you can only see it in the distance. Stuff like that. In the end, they'll be on missions evacuating civilians. You should be able to see Noble Team on the mission Exodus (The Bullfrogs), where you're evacuating civilians to the top of the building. Those ODSTs could be Romeo & Buck. This will all go up to the part where you play as Romeo. You're on one of the high rises in New Alexandria. You guys just evacuated civilians from that building & you can't get on to the pelican. Buck will be on another high rise picking up another guy on your squad. You call Buck for evac, then banshees & phantoms surround you. That's when Buck calls Kat to she if she can be of assistance, that's when Noble 6 comes & actually does a good job as an AI protecting you. In the end, Buck watches the cities get burned, & says, "We need to make sure this doesn't happen to Earth". Then in Halo 3 ODST, he says, "It's like Reach all over again"! Lol, but the Legendary ending should have sergeant Johnson again. It starts up showing Sarge with an ODST & Gunnery Sgt. Stacker. They're in a warthog driving through the actual highways of New Alexandria. A building is collapsing, & buildings are on fire. Sgt. Stacker is driving while Sarge is on the gun. They have an ODST with a silenced SMG watching & at one point shoots off camera. The warthog radio comes up with someone saying, "Johnson, are you there? Sergeant A.J. Johnson! Do you copy?", then Stacker says, "This is Gunnery Sgt. Stacker here, I have Sgt. Johnson with me, heading to our rendezvous point." Then the other guy would say, "Negative sergeant. You & Johnson are getting off this rock in a ship. Halcyon class cruiser: Pillar of Autumn, head over to the BXR complex on the outskirts & await orders. A Pelican drop ship will be waiting for you. The rest of your platoon is already there Sergeant". Then they lose the transmission as the warthog gets hit. The ODST gets shot by plasma, & Sergeant stacker grabs him with his right hand, to pull him back into the warthog. Sergeant Johnson turns & fires at the grunts & jackals & yells, "That's right you mothers! Run!" Sergeant, Stacker says, "You heard that Sarge!? We're going home early!" Sarge says, "My ass. Haven't you heard about that mission? A Halcyon cruiser being refitted with new weapons & armor? I hear they got Spartans on board". Stacker replies "Well then, I guess you & me are going along for the ride". The camera pans out above the city, showing all the destruction & the Covenant ships. It pans out even farther, showing the Fleet of Particular Justice, with Thel Vadamee on board the Seeker of Truth, in Gold armor.

BAM! Said the lady.

Yes, but it has to be earlier in the storyline.

I am the best thing that ever happened to you

Most definitly not. ODST was terrible 90 percent of the game was spent walking through an empty, samey, boring city in the dark hunting for stupid piece of evidence to indicate that the Rookie's dumb ass slept through the party.

If they could make it better, yes.
I bought ODST a few days ago for 20 bucks, and I must say, it isn't worth a 60 dollar price tag. It's barely a full game, with half a campaign on one disc and a multiplayer on another (which is quite a hassle). There's no matchmaking for Firefight, so you have to invite people you know.

The depressingly short campaign is half-spent walking around a ridiculously huge city in pitch black night getting gang raped by overpowered brutes. Seriously, I know ODST's are weaker than Spartans, but their guns aren't.

I'd enjoy it if the campaign followed a series of ODST missions, partly because the drop pod sequence at the beginning was pure kick-ass. But I'd like to experience an ODST mission that goes according to plan, like not being scattered or something. Big battles = me wasting an absurd amount of my life on this theoretical game.

Go back to the Reach forum, mmmmk?

I'd like an ODST 2. Considering that Buck was present during the fall of Reach you could easily have a game centered around Buck's new (or should that be old, prequels are confusing!) squad and whatever his mission was when Noble 6 came across him in New Alexandria.

Never leave home without your shotgun.

Yes, yes, yes! A million times yes. I loved the change of pace in the ODST game compared to the Halo trilogy. The tone and feel of it were unique enough that it definitely warrants a revisit.

Bonus points for 343i if they bring back Buck.
