Subject: Another Bungie Employee?

Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

I was looking through the old Fan Art thread in New Mombasa when I came across this. The post was made by BAR666, but it was edited by OHMZ? Who is OHMZ? I searched the name and I got this profile. Notice how their location is Redmond, Washington. Although, if he/she is a Bungie Employee, why is there no custom avatar or title? I also can't see what was edited, if anything.

I don't know if this has been posted here before. I also don't now if this is just some strange glitch.

Great, now I'll never let it go until it's solved.

Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

Hmm...interesting.

I wonder...

If OHMZ is not a Bungie employee, is it possible that BAR666 did something like:

I don't think so, because the original post was made in July. The edit was done in October. Plus, if he had been the one to go back in October and edit that it would have shown his name instead of OHMZ'. (Back then, when you edited a post, your name was added at the end of the edit tag.)

lol

I'm betting it's some sort of acronym. Could be wrong, but that's just what I think right now. Hmm.....

I recall that there was a bug at around that time which accidentally gave some members ninja-powers (yes, they could blacklist too).

It was fixed rather quickly and most of the members who discovered that they had control that they weren't sure of, well most members behaved themselves.

Some made some accidental edits and/or blacklistings, but it was all taken care of rather quickly.

Ah hah! I recall hearing about that. I wasn't around at the time(at least not in member form), but I have heard that it was solved quickly with little incident.

Seventh Column Contests

Either a bug or someone's trying to pull a Kilroy. I'm leaning more towards the bug though.

Phrog pilots, reckless and free. We would strap into our birds, set the engines on fire, and leave these earthly bonds with a chorus of WHOP WHOP WHOP. Akin to beating your chest and howling in defiance at the rest of the world.

Oh, that's what happened. I remember a time when I had an edit button under other members posts. (even in locked threads) I didn't pay it any mind and never tried anything and it quickly went away. I certainly didn't have "The Power of Grayskull's" banning ability though.

Yeah, antiherosk8er and I brought that up a long time ago, maybe I'll go look for the thread.

Guess what? Here's the thread, and OHMZ posted in it.

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Why are you being so hostile Xeroh? Jeez, you really don't need to repeatedly command us to drop it; I don't even see why you feel the need to.

Anyway, I remember that happening; seeing this topic was a nice trip down Memory Lane. :)

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

Agreed. It's not like we're spamming or anything =/

But this is a bit curious. I'd like to see how it all pans out.

WTF? The truth is that a weird bug allowed people to edit posts and even occasionally blacklist, and then it was fixed; how does that hurt anybody? You're acting like the tru7h would rock the foundations of our world or something.

But this is a bit serious.

Not really, it was fixed a long time ago; just a little while after it was discovered. Later on people saw edit buttons right after a Ninja viewed a thread, but they couldn't do anything with them and I believe that Achronos has since fixed it.

I actually found something even more interesting and a little newer...just a little.
Let me go procure a pictur of it and then I will explain, give me 20 minutes to edit this...
