Do they actually do anything for you? Or is it just a placebo effect?

I have very sensitive eyes and do a lot of design work (Photoshop, 3DSMax) as well as playing Halo 3.

My eyesight isn't that bad that I *need* glasses but a little magnification and the reduced eye-strain sounds desirable.

What do you guys think?

U Mirin?

Why don't you do any work on your chest or legs or something? You look like a cartoon character.

I know they help a lot if you are on computers doing work for like 40-80 hrs a week.I don't know much about them as far as gaming goes.

Yeah I was more hoping they had some sort of utility outside of competitive gaming.

Back on XBL.

Apart from looking like a fuckhead in them, I'm sure they do something for you..

I have family and friends who work on computers for 60hrs a week and they swear by them. Gunnars definitely help if you stare at computers all day every day.
