Halo is one of the best series I've ever played. Thank you for such an amazing game, Bungie!
Halo: CEA is NOT running on Reach's engine, nor will it have Reach's graphics. Anniversary will be running on the original Combat Evolved gameplay engine with a brand new graphics engine created by Saber Interactive on top of it. It will feature 2-player co-op via Xbox Live, or the classic split-screen that we are all used to. The music is being remastered as well as some of the sound effects. The game will be the exact same game as Halo: CE except for the addition of terminals.
Any other questions?
On the topic of multiplayer: It will also come with (I believe) a disc with seven remastered fan favorites from the Halo series. Those will running on Halo: Reach's engine in order to keep that community from splitting off into a new game. No petition will change this either. It is too far in the creation of the game to work in Halo: CE's original multiplayer with the new netcode.
