Subject: My take on how the remakes should work... (Halo 2/3)

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Alright, so now that Halo: CE has been announced as a remake many people want a Halo 2 remake. I've seen many threads and comments about it, but here's how I think they should do it. It's very, very simple. The HCEA Remake is now coming on the 10th Anniversary. So, on the 20th Anniversary, they should come out with a Halo 2 Remake. After, on the 30th Anniversary, they should come out with a Halo 3 Remake. Right now, you may think, "A Halo 3 Remake?!" But, in twenty years, I'm sure it'll seem dated. But, that's my take on how they should do this whole Anniversary Remake's.

Why would we want to wait for 20 years? We would get bored and lose interest because new games are being made all the time.

People now think Zelda is a classic because that's what they grew up playing. They love it. Well, I started gaming with Halo 3 and I'm sure many others have grown up playing Halo 3. So, I'm sure many people and true Halo fans would be excited for it.

Of course people would be excited for it, I agree with you there, but waiting 20 years? I could understand better if it was made on the 10th anniversary of Halo 3, but not the 30th anniversary of Halo:CE. It's still 6 years away, but it's heck of a lot more easier waiting 6 years rather than 20.

And besides, waiting 20 years could get boring for the developers and creators of the remake as well. If it's as simple as a graphic update, they don't need to take so long re-creating it, so they might as well release the game earlier anyway; there would be no point in making a game, and then releasing it for that particular anniversary a few years later.
