“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

The Black Chapter!

I'll download the app if I ever get a phone that was made after the turn of the millenium.

Achronos, or someone else, please reassure me that there's even the smallest spark of potential possibility for a Windows Phone 7 version to appear on the horizon, like a bolt of lightning from the heavens striking my phone into the future?

The app will become available over the course of a few days (or hours, not sure which).
Right now it's only available in Australia.

Baby steps. One has to start somewhere, both in feature set and platform choice.

I knew there wouldn't be a Android counterpart. Oh well. It looks (for now) that it doesn't do much special that would require special APIs. Someone (maybe even me) could create a Android version...

Does the Mobile App allow us to post on the forums through said app?

I find it funny how they are stationed in Seattle, yet the first place the application becomes available is Australia.

:P

Oh those ... pig ... things ... are in trouble now!

  • 06.13.2011 2:43 PM PDT

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Wow, I have to have an Ipod, that sucks... :'(

True and I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. I'm just interested in the mobile keys now and how they could solve this problem of platform coupled with Bungie employee man-hours.

Theoretically, if dazarobbo's post about what the key could be (and I believe he's right). That would mean ANYONE could create an app with the same features as the Bungie made iOS app.

I think that's pretty cool, and is an answer to WLID security using third party apps. If it's part of the web teams plan to create an API or support developers creating apps that integrate with Bungie.net, I applaud you. It would really build on the Bungie Community vibe, also it would help get Bungie apps to everyone's, on every mobile platform. Because it's impossible to please everyone, and to create apps for every mobile OS Win7phone, Android, Blackberry etc. who be crazy.

Why not let us? :)

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Just checked, not available on the east coast yet. Seems like a nice first step, can't wait until future forum browsing abilities are incorporated
