I knew there wouldn't be a Android counterpart. Oh well. It looks (for now) that it doesn't do much special that would require special APIs. Someone (maybe even me) could create a Android version...
True and I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. I'm just interested in the mobile keys now and how they could solve this problem of platform coupled with Bungie employee man-hours.
Theoretically, if dazarobbo's post about what the key could be (and I believe he's right). That would mean ANYONE could create an app with the same features as the Bungie made iOS app.
I think that's pretty cool, and is an answer to WLID security using third party apps. If it's part of the web teams plan to create an API or support developers creating apps that integrate with Bungie.net, I applaud you. It would really build on the Bungie Community vibe, also it would help get Bungie apps to everyone's, on every mobile platform. Because it's impossible to please everyone, and to create apps for every mobile OS Win7phone, Android, Blackberry etc. who be crazy.
Why not let us? :)
