I'll fill you in with the details.

1) I place a clean disk in my xbox and play it

2) Enter matchmaking

3) Find players after 5 minutes searching

4) Map locks in

5) Randomly switches to another map without veto

6) I Get removed

If anyone could fill me in on how to get my halo 3 matchmaking back on track, you are welcome as I have not played it for ages.

For those curious as to why I am asking after not touching halo 3 for so long. I'll explain.

Last Friday Call of bull*Blam* pissed me off with it's nuketown 24/7 that I vowed never to return to it again although the Halo 4 trailer kind of enticed me to return. Since then I have been devoted to Halo Reach.

Whoever opts to solve this problem, your solution is warmly welcomed to this thread.

Thank you

I will not claim to be good at Halo. I am not the first and probably not the last.

I don't know. There is a possibility that you may be the only one on that play list. To my knowledge, if you don't have the required amount of players you don't play. This may be unrelated to your problem.

Halo 3 forever!

That has happened to me before, if one player has to be removed for whatever reason then theres an odd number of players, so ive seen people get removed from a game for just so the teams are even.
The other possibility is that your connection sucks monkey nut.
But the most likely reason is that idk why, but your account wont load maps correctly. To see if this is the case, go into forge and try playing on a random map you have made. If it fails, this is the case, if it loads correctly, email bungie for an answer.

FIX**
I have fixed this problem 5 times, twice by trying to load the map, then going to the dashboard, then repeat. Twice from joining a party and then leave, and trying again. And once by not playing for about a week(disk left in).
Hope this helps!

Try loading every map individually in a custom game. Start a game on a few maps just to make sure they all work. If any fail to load, there's your problem. If they all seem work, then I don't know what the problem could be. Have you downloaded any map packs (to use with the original Halo 3 disc)? If so, try to re-download them. It might also be worth trying to clear your cache, and installing Halo 3 to your HDD.

I have had this happen to me before. It may have something to do with your NAT. If it is strict then you may be getting paired up with people, then you get kicked because your connection is restricting you from playing with them.
