Maybe we could discover that Master Chief is actually the second coming of Christ. ZOMG

Or not, because that would be ridiculous.

Also Microsoft legal team wouldn't allow it, not in a million years.

TRU7H. CARNAGE. BUNGIE

Should be, yeah. Yet somehow the "Halo as a Christian Allegory" thread remains up.

Indeed...

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” – Psalms 46:1-3

I personally would draw up a law suit.

"Where ere thou hast been, here or in yon world manifest? Canst thou tell what is, or what was, or what is to come? No thing shall last. Yet there are some things that will never change. History is written in blood, yet are battles really lost on the battlefield? Canst thou tell me where thou comest, and where thou goest, and what is, or what was, or what will be? For everything remains, AS IT NEVER WAS."

Honestly? I'd help. :/ Halo is Halo, not Sunday School.

There are alot of biblical references in the Halo universe so I think it would be very relevant to the story and could possibly be good thing gameplay wise. Discuss.

Only if he's an enemy.

No, religious things like that should not be confirmed to exist in the haloverse, but nor should they be confirmed to not exist. Whether the man upstairs does exist or not in the haloverse should be left ambiguous. I play halo for escapism anyways, so certain things of the real world shouldn't be in it.

Although if God DID exist in the haloverse, John's extreme luckiness throughout the halo series (surviving so many conflicts) would actually make sense, perhaps it could be said that God had a hand in helping the master chief survive. After all, i don't think it would be in Jesus's interest for Man to be exterminated by aliens (this is true if Jesus was the son of God and did exist in the haloverse).

I think the Librarian, Assembly and Medicant Bias collectively make the title of God (manipulators of the entire universe and all) with the Prisoner/Gravemind being the Devil.

LOL

Perhaps the stress done on the Chief finally takes its tole, and this causes the Chief to start to hallucinate "Jesus" as a white bearded guy in a white robe. What "he" does throughout the game would be giving moral support to the Chief or something.
----------------

But in all seriousness, if 343 actually did something like that, i don't think i would play halo 4 again.

I am an orange mist amongst a sea of blue, so my flames may stand out and represent all those who trully believe in this great sacriment of Bungie history, let my story be told as the only legendary still standing even after I fall Just as my comrades did so graciously to fight for the true loyal.
If you have legendary, would you stand by my side and go forth into a sea blue and demise as my brothers fighting for those who are trully loyal to Bungie?

If their saying something like only jesus on a game that's not based off of christianity they can get canceled from the Code of Conduct basically the TL;DR version is "yo ass can't make a game 'bout jesus or his dawgs, we coo know?"
