Am I the only one that thinks that the first 2 armor effects sort of ruin the mature fighting in Halo Reach? When they die, they explode with confetti, what would an Elite think. Or the Heart Attack one, they have hearts flying around them, It just doesn't look right to me. The last two are fine, and so are both flames. But I think for Halo 4, we're going to need new ones (excluding flames, and maybe last 2 effects because they're BA)
So, my first idea is (Don't hate because of the names):
Scorching Aftermath
Your armor would be smoking and have little embers on it in several places.
Ancient Acid
This would be similar to the Pestilence, but better. You're body would be covered thinly by acid that leaks off your armor. Since the acid is so hot, it causes smoke on your armor. When you die, It spews everywhere (doesn't cause damage)
Blackhole
You aren't actually invisible like a blackhole. Black and purple ominous clouds of shadows swirl around your Spartan. Your Spartan is still clearly visible although. When you die, The shadows move inward then quickly blast outward in all directions about 10 feet.
Overgrown
This just causes your Spartan to have vines wrapped around his body and have moss like substances growing on his armor.
Water Hazard
This creates a thin veil of water that swirls around your Spartan's body. It would occasionly drop a couple droplets of water (like Ancient Acid does). When you die, the water simply falls to the floor around your dead body.
So, tell me if you like any of these, or comment if you only like a couple or if you have any other ideas.
I think the Effects for Halo 4 have to be more threatening when you see someone with it. The effects should be more BA as well, making you think you're awesome and when other people see you, they'll think your Spartan looks awesome, as well as threatening.
