Im txgrim4 (Grim, Grimmy, Grimsta), i have been playing xboxlive for 9 years, evr since day 1 of Halo:CE til now. I love H2, that and Halo 1 are my favs. Im a Halologist when it comes to the Bungie/Halo Universe. Ive also played Marathon Series, ONI, and Myth Series. I live in Texas, Play Football, and cant wait for Halo 4!

To me, Steampunk sounds like a cool game, but something tells me its gonna be a weird game, i dont know why. The title just seems like its a "Bulletstorm" or Borderlands" type game, an odd, not hardcore game like Halo or CoD. Just my opinion. Because I hope its just like halo, Realistic aliens, good combat, and a great, action packed but not akward or boring storyline

steampunk isn't a game, it's a style.

What do you mean a Style, I heard that Bungie is doing something with the word, steampunk, and I thought it was a game

Style as in looks. Aesthetics. Etc.

Steampunk is generally categorized as being old timey Victorian era clothes, architecture, and technology. Except it has the twist of having futuristic technologies, gizmos, gadgets, and the like incorporated in as well though they'd be powered by 'conventional' methods of the time period. Like having a steam powered robot for example.

Haha, did you get this from that other thread of yours I posted in?

Steampunk is a sub-genre. It involves having advanced technology using antiquated methods. So you have clockwork guns, airships, steam powering cars -- it's a really cool sub-genre, in my opinion. A notable example you've probably heard of is Northern Lights (or The Golden Compass in America.)

I just guessed Aerospace might have something to do with it because of what looked like typical 'steampunk airships' in the last Bungie main news story.

It's just me guessing. It's probably not.

So kinda like the new Bioshock Infinite, it has old timey looking architecture mixed with futuristic, as well as clothing and weopnry

Aesthetically speaking yes both the Rapture based Bioshocks and the Columbia based locale in Bioshock Infinite would be examples of it.
