Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

The latter.

Yep but it doesn't matter. I'm sure your brain can handle remembering which buttons you mapped out for doing certain tasks. (I just re-read that and it looks hostile, I assure you it's not. Being very literal there.)

Something smells fishy...

I highly suggest using mouse and keyboard. You won't have to stress over button mapping and such.

Also you have to lead your shots in Halo Combat Evolved PC so, in my opinion, it's easier to lead your shots when using mouse and keyboard.

There's also zero aim assist when using a controller. Which is the way it should be, tbh.

Completely agreed. If you plan on playing Multiplayer with that controller you'll be in for a surprise. You're much better off learning to play with a keyboard/mouse. It doesn't matter how bad you think you are with it, just take the beatings with it until you get the hang of it. After you do you'll never want to go back.

Thanks to everyone but the reason why I use a controller is cause Im a xbox person, but I got it for PC so I can play online, but I just cannot get used to a keyboard. Thanks to everyone that commented.
I sort of assumed all of that before, but I promise you that if you practice on the keyboard/mouse it will pay off. Try to spend half your time using the controller then half the time with keyboard/mouse. That's what my friend made me do a long time ago while first starting on PC games. I hated it, but eventually I started realizing how much better the kb/m is. Eventually I just gave the wired controller to a friend and started playing kb/m non-stop. I assure you that no matter how good you are with a controller you won't be able to get intentional headshots on Blood Gulch from red base to cave without scoping in. I'm not even that great at Halo PC and I can do that due to the kb/m.

If I use a Wired Xbox 360 Controller for PC and connect it, When I play Halo CE will it say "Press (X) To pick up pistol" or will it say "press *BUTTON 12* To pick up pistol"?

Just to add to what everyone has already said, the controller doesn't work 100% the same as the Xbox/360. And im not talking about the aim assist, occasionally the movement will mess up, at least in my experience, but then i usually play with a M+K anyway so it didnt bother me much. Online you will have to lead shots as said, which is where the m+k will dominate.
