Subject: A soultion to Equipment or AAs in Halo 4

How 'bout we do a mix between the two.

JETPACK
Instead of it being rechargable, give it a lot more fuel then it originaly had make it unrecharable. So you don't spawn with the jetpack, you have to pick it up. Also give it a new sleek design.

DROPSHIELD
Same thing with the jetpack, it doesent recharge and you don't spawn with it. When you deploy, you can deactivate it and pick to be used when you want. You have an indacator in your HUD of how much energy you have left in it. The shield can be destoyed and also heals people.

SPRINT
You auto maticly spawn with it, but it is not an AA or equipment. It will recharge.

ACTIVE CAMO
Same as Drpo shield, but when it runs out of energy you start losing for suit's functions. For EX: Loss of shields, static in HUD, loss of radar, you move slower, and etc...

OVERSHIELDS
Same as Halo 3, but not in magical orb form.

RADARJAMMER
Same as Dropshield.

I have another solution. No equipment/AAs whatsoever.

Imagine a triangle. It's perfect, but a little plain. You take a chisel, and carve a small decorative symbol into it to make it a little more interesting. People like it, but it could use a little more.

So you then take a sledgehammer..

AA's and equipment add so much potential for new and innovative game types. They shouldn't be in every playlist, but they also shouldn't be removed entirely.

yeah I suppose those are good ideas but tbh I don't mind them being loadouts (I'm 100% casual). I doubt 343 will do loadouts again though... atleast the same way as in Reach

noble, I understand your liking to the AA's as a casual player, but the competitive nature it had in Halo 2 and Halo 3 were what made it fun. You didn't have to be xXxM1GxSn1P3zxXx7 to play it, but you still had fun as a casual, right? I know I had fun, and I used to suck.

The point I'm trying to make is, the default tone Halo needs to have is competitive. They need to cater their game towards competitive standards, not casual standards. Which in context of this post, would at the least mean making AA's pick-ups and nerfing AL or replacing it with overshields.
