lolnope.

I have to say, I really liked the game. A lot. It has such an awesome, huge story line to it. In fact, there is so much to it, I'm still confused a little bit after spending hours yesterday trying to beat the campaign on Kindergarten difficulty (I know I'm a noob). Anyways, if any of you reading this have beaten the game yet, what would you say was the most difficult mission for you? I'd have to say the most difficult mission for me was All Roads Lead to Sol. How about you fellas?

It's a great game.

Now, bump it up to Total Carnage and kill some BOBs.

Want to play Bungie games old and new? For Carnage Apply Within

"Don't mistake your rank and number for superiority.
The oldest child may learn from the youngest."

That is a tough question. The level I die most often on is probably "6000 Feet Under" but that is more because no mater how careful I am, I always fall in the lava. "Curiouser and Curiouser" always gives me trouble too. Lots of troopers and cyborgs on that level.

I think my favorite level in the whole game though has to be "Begging for Mercy Makes Me Angry." It's a fitting way to end the Durandal chapter, it is a huge turning point in the story, and seeing it come back in Marathon Infinity as "Hang Brain" just makes it all the more cool.

If you liked Marathon 2: Durandal, you should try the whole Marathon Trilogy. You've only played the second act. The story and Durandal's motivations make a lot more sense if you play Marathon 1. You can get all three games 100% FREE at marathon.sourceforge.net

Also, if you are looking to play Marathon or any of Bungie's older games multiplayer or co-op or just discus them, you should check out the For Carnage Apply Within group.

All the levels blur into one giant alien blasting, mystery uncovering, BOB bombing campaign so I couldn't tell you the hardest level.

For me, the most difficult section of Marathon 2: Durandal is the Durandal chapter (If I had a Rocket Launcher, I'd Make Somebody Pay, Sorry Don't Make it So, For Carnage Apply Within, and Begging For Mercy Makes Me Angry).

That chapter is similar to the Halo 1 level The Library in that you are completely isolated in an extremely hostile environment and your only primary objective is to survive.
