"The measure of a man is what he does with power"-Plato

Anyone remember them in Cryptum?

How they are encased around the users body.

It got me thinking...

Remeber the terminal where it showed a figure encased in a huge protective cocoon?

Possible?

It's amazing how Halo canon can write in to itself sometimes.

Subtle things like that make the Halo Universe all that much deeper and mysterious.

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

Never noticed that, good possible catch.

"Me? Who am I but a lowly Sangheili, not knowing what is happening in There. There, what lies my peoples' future. There, where I cannot make desicions on who we fight. There, the homeworld of my people." ~ Enme Etsor

I remember reading somewhere that those are in fact the Sphinxes.

Can't find it, now...

We should know better, because we are better.

While we don't know what Warrior Sphinxes look like I'm not to sure that is one of them. It is definitely Forerunner but it does not appear to have legs like the Sphinxes. Maybe it it one of those Forerunner quarantine ships.

Maybe the legs fold in?

It just fits the description. Not fully, but it's damn close.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Hmmm...interesting. Now, when are they going to tell us the Sandtrap mystery?!

I figured that it might be a Seeker.
This is still an interesting find.

Whatever it is, it's an interesting find none the less. I'm still leanig towards it being a spacecraft because of it's shape, which does not resemble a humanoid. But the limbs could fold, it just looks odd.

Cool find. I probably ended up missing most of the imagery from the terminals because of how fast they pass. Is there a gallery somewhere with all of the images that accompany the text? I'd love to see them without having to go through all of the terminals myself.
