Halo: Reach is basically Halo CE with some mods and with stuff from Halo 3.
Enemies shoot further. You could mod that in Halo PC.
Elite Minors and Majors throw grenades. You could mod that in Halo PC.
Elites have a bigger desired combat range, which is why they might run backward while shooting at you if you get close. You could mod that in Halo PC.
But if there's one thing that doesn't belong in Halo, it's Jackal Majors that have absurdly large amounts of health.
And if there's one thing that makes Halo: Reach inferior to CE, it has to be weapon unbalance.
Sure, the plasma pistol is powerful. And the DMR is very accurate. But the plasma rifle's inaccurate. The pistol is crap. The sniper rifle's useless. The rocket launcher's situational. The concussion rifle is only good as a temporary/once in a while weapon. The Needler sucks, despite it's homing. The AR is fairly good on Heroic and lower, but isn't good enough for Legendary.
Whereas every weapon in Halo CE had a purpose. Even Halo 3 had better weapons than Halo: Reach.
