It's their life, if they want to spend that amount of time playing Halo Reach, so be it.
Rewards are a good system that are in almost all games now. Probably one of the biggest factors that keeps people playing. You've never played just those 2 or 3 more games to get that next rank or something?I'm sure you'll make a fine parent one day.
In regards to your question, I don't know, probably? But, again, I fail to see how my answer to that question (whatever it may be) has any relevance at all to what I wrote.
I suggest you try reading what I wrote again and see if I made any criticism of rewards.

Why should someones life choices matter to you? If they choose to play a video game every day that is their choice, they don't need "a stern talking to". I hate it when arrogant people like you are some how above them because you don't play "Halo Reach for 12 hours a day". You some how know what is best for human kind! Please almighty one guide me to eternal happiness, tell me what I must do to lead a 'proper' life.
"I don't play video games all day, I have a life." Anyone who says that can go suck a 'lemon'. You don't know what kind of lives these people live, for all you know they work the night shift at the factory so the only time they are awake is hours in which their friends are in bed.
Also can you read all players minds? How do you know they all play for rewards? Are telling me you wouldn't take a reward as a bi-product of doing something you enjoyed? You wouldn't take a nice bonus your employer offered you?
Get out of here with holier than thou -blam!-.Really, another one?
Firstly, I must commend you for living up to your name (aptly selected I see).I have a question for you Rage; why let what someone on an internet forum says get you angry? It isn't worth it, especially when you misinterpret what they say.
I didn't say we should drag them from their dens and force them to engage with other human beings (the horror) rather I said someone should talk to them about the direction they're life is headed in because one, it isn't healthy, and two, we as fellow human beings shouldn't let others go down paths that will make them worse off if it is within our power to do something about it.
In regards to the rewards, I suggest you reread what I said. Then again, actually debating me off of what I said as opposed to what you interpreted me as saying would actually be the more difficult of the two paths wouldn't it? Feel free to keep playing into the straw man fallacy though. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't amused.
