releaseing the lendary haunted helmet with blue flames on bungie day thoughts?

READ IT.

I won the Star. With this on Week 18.

No.

Haunted Helmet can be given at the rank Inheritor. There is not reason to get it early.

And Legendary Armor Effect is limited to Legendary Edition Halo Reach.

This. The inheritors worked for their armor, I wouldn't want Bungie to give away the haunted helmet if I worked for it.

They are giving blue flames to everyone on Bungie Day. It was stated in the last weekly update.

Tru7h. C4RN4GE. Bungie.

I'd love to get Haunted without having to play Halo: Reach incessantly. LOL

Did you see me mention anyone about blue flames?

I stated what I was saying "no" too.

They just released a Bungie Employee-only armor effect, and you still want more? Be happy with what we got.

Bungie.net is the only website that has been able to hold my interest for such a long period of time, and I can only imagine there are still many years to come.

Not fair? How is it fair to the Inheritors that have put large quantities of time to get the Haunted Helmet and then just give it out on Bungie day.

This is something that you can gain over time, only the truly dedicated will ever earn it.

you dont get it at Inheritor you get it one you have every helm and helm parts unlocked wich you can do way before Inheritor like legend and mythic or maybe even brigader the point is you dont have to be a Inheritor

It would be pretty awesome, but I think no. People have worked hard for that helmet and it wouldn't be fair to release it to people for free.

As much as I hate the "I deserve it just for the sole fact that I'm me. Give it to me now!" attitude of these things, I hate equally the implied premise that these were rewards one had to "work" for. They are unlockables in a video game, which is, oddly enough, something you're supposed to play for entertainment as opposed to the promise of a reward. The only things those who have reached the rank of inheriter "deserve" for all of their "work" is either a stern talking to about why they feel the need to manipulate a video game to obtain a virtual reward or, if they actually did it legitimately, a stern talking to about the life they choose to lead and why it shouldn't include playing Halo Reach for 12 hours a day.

It's their life, if they want to spend that amount of time playing Halo Reach, so be it.

Rewards are a good system that are in almost all games now. Probably one of the biggest factors that keeps people playing. You've never played just those 2 or 3 more games to get that next rank or something?

I think the Bungie nameplate, star nameplate, and eternal armor effect is enough. The haunted helmet should remain for the Bungie employees and the inheritors who have worked their butt of playing Halo:Reach.

Why should someones life choices matter to you? If they choose to play a video game every day that is their choice, they don't need "a stern talking to". I hate it when arrogant people like you are some how above them because you don't play "Halo Reach for 12 hours a day". You some how know what is best for human kind! Please almighty one guide me to eternal happiness, tell me what I must do to lead a 'proper' life.

"I don't play video games all day, I have a life." Anyone who says that can go suck a 'lemon'. You don't know what kind of lives these people live, for all you know they work the night shift at the factory so the only time they are awake is hours in which their friends are in bed.

Also can you read all players minds? How do you know they all play for rewards? Are telling me you wouldn't take a reward as a bi-product of doing something you enjoyed? You wouldn't take a nice bonus your employer offered you?

Get out of here with holier than thou -blam!-.

I'm sure you'll make a fine parent one day.

In regards to your question, I don't know, probably? But, again, I fail to see how my answer to that question (whatever it may be) has any relevance at all to what I wrote.

I suggest you try reading what I wrote again and see if I made any criticism of rewards.

Really, another one?

Firstly, I must commend you for living up to your name (aptly selected I see).I have a question for you Rage; why let what someone on an internet forum says get you angry? It isn't worth it, especially when you misinterpret what they say.

I didn't say we should drag them from their dens and force them to engage with other human beings (the horror) rather I said someone should talk to them about the direction they're life is headed in because one, it isn't healthy, and two, we as fellow human beings shouldn't let others go down paths that will make them worse off if it is within our power to do something about it.

In regards to the rewards, I suggest you reread what I said. Then again, actually debating me off of what I said as opposed to what you interpreted me as saying would actually be the more difficult of the two paths wouldn't it? Feel free to keep playing into the straw man fallacy though. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't amused.

The Haunted Helmet is already obtainable in-game. Therefore there is really no reason to hand it out.

But really Bungie shouldn't since it is one of those things that keep people playing.
