Alright. This theory is going to seem very far-fetched at first, but bear with me. Here's my take on Bungie's possible next title:

In the PC Gamer population, it's been HEAVILY rumored that Blizzard Entertainment's next-gen MMO, only known as "Titan", is going to be an MMOFPS. It's been in development for many years now, and Blizzard has CONSTANTLY stated that the game will have a "much broader appeal", and that it will not be a competitor with their other MMO, World of Warcraft, being that it will be a "whole different game".

Now, if you take a look at this article, Blizzard's co-founder Frank Pearce states:

"It's our next-gen MMO, and we've only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we want to leverage the fact that we're working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting--getting some of the best talent in the industry on that."

Also, in case you didn't see, Urk confirmed in the most recent BWU that Aerospace is NOT Bungie's new game, and Aerospace beforehand was rumored to be Bungie's new game.

Seeing as Bungie is now working with Activision, and Blizzard is also part of Activision, and this game is going to have a broader appeal, being rumored to be an MMOFPS, and Bungie being very talented in FPS's, well... Perhaps Activision brought Bungie into the picture to help Blizzard make a kickass MMOFPS?

I know that there's many Bungie/Halo fans that will not think highly of a game like this. But, nonetheless, it is very, VERY possible. And it would be one of the greatest thing to happen in gaming if Bungie and Blizzard worked on the SAME project. At least, that's how I see it.

What does everyone think of this?

Break down, every single one of you.

If Aerospace isn't Bungie's next game then why are they releasing information about it on Bungie Day?

I still think it's an Oni sequal.

Check the links. Urk specifically states that Aerospace and their next game are two completely different things.

"Not a peep about our next project (though Aerospace, whatever it is, is all systems go and counting down to launch)"

He also states in a later update that they are going to explain just what Aerospace is all about, "in explicit detail." Remember: he confirmed that nothing will be said about their next game title for quite a while. Aerospace, however, is going to be touched on during Bungie Day. Therefore, they are two different things.

Aerospace is some kind of corporation or community gathering site of some kind.

Look at this stuff I gathered a while ago trying to figure it out.

Looks interesting, but Aerospace isn't the center of this thread's discussion, being that it's confirmed that it's not even Bungie's next game.

What does everyone think of the whole MMO thing? I'm curious about that.

Perhaps Aerospace relates to the next game or is some sort of hub for future Bungie games? It could possibly be an ARG or something as well.

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

I don't think that's likely at all since Bungie approached several publishers about their new IP and they maintain ownership of said new IP.
