One, when the Elite jumps in the demo he leaps up about three times higher then we're used to doing in multiplayer. Since Elites and Spartans are totally the same in multiplayer... does that mean the Chief can leap that high as well? Wow!

Secondly, the Elite was still alive after he was thown out by the exploding Warthog he was driving. Is there now a chance to survive when your ghost explodes while you're still in it now? Wouldn't that be awesome? Wounded but still ready to fight?

Anyone notice anything else?

Yes in Halo 2 it will take 2 rocket launcher shoots to kill a person in a vhecle.
Also as in my post i said that i wanted to be an elite bacause it can jump that high...
Don't you think that spartans will also have some advantedge when playing MP?
well we will have to wait and see...

i dunno if he jumps higher....he also jumped off a bit off hill which would have made him jump a bit higher. and it does sorta look that way that you'll be able to survive the initial blast. i heard somthing somewhere...i think it was the write up about the multiplayer at IGN.com but whoever wrote it said that if your sheilds are full and that happens you sort of KO onto the dashboard...sorta like being stunned....and if your shields are down you die. also...itook this from someone else....hehe....just passing it on...but after joe kills max and he looks down to pick up the sword you can see his feet. realy cool and realistic feature.

Nah, he was only halfway up the hill. If anything, it's still a double high leap compared to the last one. Still, I like the idea of jumping a bit higher. It means you don't stuggle to get up those platform steps on sidewinder and a few other places.

The feet... wow... that is something new. I really like seeing that. Such a subtle thing but so powerful. When I've looked down in the past and just saw the odd dark ovals that were your feet I ended up with this strange floating feeling that irked me. Good Spot!

the guy that wrote the article for IGN said that there was no difference (even in the HUD) between the spartans and the elites.
if you guys are talking about the screenshot named "hogslide," then i think what you're seeing is the leap attack mentioned in the IGN article.
but if you're talking about the elite in the screenshot "gateassault," then my best guess is that he was propelled upward from some kind of explosion which has since dissipated, or he jumped backwards off of that rock in front of him.

Yes, it's the footage BadKarma... but you're also right when several industry people reported that they were playing as elites and felt that there was no difference between them and their Spartan enemies.

They even had to look at each other just to be sure they were still playing elites between matches.

ooooh, there's something I just noticed. The first time I went through the video I couldn't see the HUD. It was chopped off.

I managed to get to see another version and voila. -- Vehicles don't have health guages! -- Nothing whatsoever. You have to watch and feel how much life your vehicle has before it falls apart on you. Now, THAT I like.
