Looking at several people's own posts, I thought of my own idea for a Floodfight. But please don't flame me or send hate mail; I'm not saying all this stuff is my idea.


In Floodfight there would be three gametypes, Holdout, Purify, and Nightwalker.

Holdout involves players to survive as long as they can against the ever-advancing Flood swarm, much like ODST firefight. Dead players become Infested and have to fight against the survivors.

The objective of Purify is for every marked location to be cured from Flood infection. To "deinfest" a location, a player must stand in the highlighted area for thirty consecutive seconds. Every deinfested area increases the intelligence and strength of the Flood AI.

The final gametype would be Nightwalkers. This gametype would feature a night-and-day feature no matter the map used - the time of day changes depending on the difficulty chosen, day becomes shorter the higher the difficulty; the Flood in this gametype only attack at nighttime. Ammunition and equipment can be found scattered around the map.

+FLOODFIGHT MAPS+ To avoid certain Floodfight gametypes being played on certain maps, a large hub of maps for Floodfight would be made to compensate.

Abridged - A massive multi-leveled UNSC watchtower on an isolated island with many bridges connected the island to the mainland. Good for Holdout gameplay.

Fallen Grace - This takes place on the beachs of Voi on Earth. Its long length, the scattered structures, and main base would made it perfect for Purify and Holdout.

Forsaken - An abandoned Covenant fortress. Its large design would support Purify and Nightwalker gameplay.

High Moon - Set on in a Forerunner mountain fortress. The fact its surrounded on all sides and has isolated platforms would make it excellent for Holdout and Nightwalker.

Plague - A recently taken over UNSC base offers up juicy secrets to the Space Parasite if they're not disposed of. Designed only for the Purify gametype.

Left for Death - A volcanic mountainside-like map made for Nightwalker gameplay. Flood emerge from their cubby holes outside the survivor base.

No, reviving isn't Halo, In all honesty, it would be more of a challenge if you die, you fight as a flood form until death or the next round.

No, reviving isn't Halo, In all honesty, it would be more of a challenge if you die, you fight as a flood form until death or the next round.
I know. This would have to be in a New Engine. But I thought having a Human player on the Flood side would be too difficult considering how many Flood there are each wave.

C'mon people, this is a quality idea. Halo has to have something new in it for once or it'll get old and boring like CoD.

I would save this and spread it around, despite what people say if 343i sees something likes this and likes it they will use it in some fashion.

Reviving is in CoD Zombz. So, not original, and would just make even more CoD Fanboys scream in RAGE.
