"Inveniam Viam Aut Facium" _~

Scroll down, it's there!

Do the forums contain, "Blood and Gore, Mild Language, and Violence"?

And most importantly, these forums are for ages 17 and up!

HALO 2 FOREVER - M.I.A.

Yes i have a Twitter and yes i voice my opinion.

The many forums talk about the games that are all about the "Blood and Gore, Mild Language, and Violence" so it was decided to add that to the legal stuff.

Even so, it is what they post. They occasionally pass the profanity filter and use the occasion F-word, or more profane language.

You know the world is going to hell in a handbasket when it relies upon the ESRB to rate forums.

Pesonally I believe that they have the ESRB rating because of the Map Pack adverts.

You might've heard of this little thing called Halo.. ;)
Seeing as all Halo games are rated M and there's Halo content all over the site, it seems to make sense to have the M rating there.

Why is it surrounded by swords?

Who knows and what possible difference does it make to anyone who is a non-disruptive member of the community?

"Just as the wave cannot exist for itself, but is ever a part of the heaving surface of the ocean, so must I never live my life for itself, but always in the experience which is going on around me.” - Albert Schweitzer

I think it is referring to the rating of their game, Halo.

;)

Bungie makes Halo, Halo is rated M. This website promotes the game Halo. To satisfy ESRB compliance, the game's rating must be displayed on all pages. The ESRB also makes us enter a date of birth before watching videos from an M rated (or anticipated M) game. All in the name of placating whiny parents and politicians. :)

Many will enter, only one will rise to the top and he might not even win....

Because this is a video game website to discuss Bungie's games, and "Blood and Gore, Mild Language, and Violence" was the highest rating a Bungie game ever got, so they have to warn you about that.

Now selling HHDDVVDDBVDs. HD DVDs, but with better marketing.

It's part of Bungie's basic layout. Every page has it, even the homepage. Has Bungie ever made a game which wasn't rated M?

Should Bungie.net not have an EWC rating?

quod te non occidit, te fortiorem faciet

The rating is useless here... the forums are worse than any game... man even worse than a war zone !!

  • 07.04.2011 6:35 PM PDT

Does anyone even read these?

A rating holds more significance than a sword decoration. The M rating thing should just be gone to avoid confusion if it doesn't mean anything.

Seems to represent the content of the discussions, or at least, what they were based upon a long time ago...
