I didn't know where to post this but this seems like a reasonable spot to do so. Anyway I recently downloaded Halo CE for 1200 Microsoft points a few weeks back and I tried to load it up only for this notification to pop up saying that there is a error trying to load the game. It did mention to visit the Xbox website to find any solutions to this problem but I couldn't find anything that relates to my problem I am having right now. I really don't want to waste 1200 Microsoft points for nothing if the game doesn't work. By the way I downloaded it on those new black Xboxes that's been out quite a while. I do have a Hard drive by the way. If anyone can help me sort out this problem then I be more than grateful to accept it. Thanks for reading.

Good players work together...and no matter how good you are, you're not physic. - blade6321

This is probably a stupid question, but have you tried deleting the game and re-downloading it? It won't charge you again. Also, any update that pops up should be denied. It won't penalize you in any way. Lastly, how much memory does your hard drive have?

I tried deleting it then reinstalling it a few times but still no success. I tried it so many times I absolutely gave up. It is just the same process from when I first downloaded the game. Load the game up and then the error pops up. The hard drive is at full capacity in memory. It is a 250 gig hard drive.

Woah...that just happened...again !

I was having this issue a while ago with COD4 and its DLC.

What I did was enable downloads to complete while xbox is off. I then deleted the content from the HDD and started to download it again, Shut off the xbox and wait for it to finish. You'll know it is when the light stops flashing.

I will try that solution later on then. Thanks for the info.

I will let you know if it worked or not.
