actually, no.
Fire needs 3 things to exist. Heat, Fuel and Oxygen.
Remove oxygen and you have no worries about your planet going up in smoke, this is why your light filament doesn't instantly blow, because there is no oxygen in a lightbulb.
Exactly, if a certain amount of oxygen gets to the atmosphere of Balaho (Homeworld of Grunts for those who don't know) and gets a high enough temperature it burns until it's all carbon dioxide. Same thing happens when a certain amount of methane gets to the atmosphere of earth with a high temperature, sure it burns, but only as long as there is something left to burn.
I would imagine that for Grunts oxygen is a light and maybe even power source just like oil is (has been) to us.
